Traffic Safety & Control Officers/Traffic Managers

At Virtus we believe there is more to a TSCOs role than just supplying a man with a van to tick the box of having someone with the TSCO accreditation on site. Our dedicated Traffic Safety and Control Officers are all highly experienced within the industry and a robust vetting procedure is endured before any TSCO joins our team.

We provide all our TSCOs with the most up to date equipment to ensure their daily site activities can be carried out with maximum efficiency.

Having a professional, reliable and knowledgeable TSCO on site to look after all your Temporary Traffic Management arrangements will undoubtedly create commercial efficiencies and ensure that consistently high safety standards are maintained throughout the project duration.

Our TSCOs  can alleviate the pressure of your Site Management Team by not only taking on board the management of the Temporary Traffic Management aspect of the project, but also managing all of the associated Traffic Management Sub-Contract ad-on services listed below: 

  • Temporary Road Markings
  • CCTV
  • Temporary Barriers
  • Speed Cameras

Our TSCOs work anywhere throughout the UK and can be utilised full time, living on site if required, and will become a respected member of your site team throughout each project.

All  TSCOS must hold the following qualifications as a minimum requirement before joining the Virtus TM Solutions team:

  • Min 5 years experience in the management of Temporary Traffic Management
  • NHSS Traffic Safety and Control Officer Qualification (Black Card)
  • NHSS 12A/B Foreman Qualification
  • Min 3 day First Aid Trained
  • Min 1 Day IOSH trained
  • Computer literate
  • Preferred ability in AutoCAD TM design
